Guest Posts and Sponsored Posts

Interested in being featured on The Blogsmith’s blog?

I’m not currently accepting guest posts. You may see me occasionally break that rule, but know that any email you send me about guest posting will likely be deleted the minute it hits my inbox.

That said, you can work with me to be featured on The Blogsmith as part of a sponsored post. I create topics that don’t feel icky salesly and focus on things people actually want to engage with.

The Blogsmith caters to 3 distinct types of people, attempting to do so seamlessly:

  • Freelancers and bloggers
  • WordPress community members
  • Content managers at technology brands

If you’re looking to reach one of these audiences, get in touch to discuss details regarding topics, structure, and cost.

My Sponsored Post Writing Process

TOPIC DEVELOPMENT

I can come up with concepts but am happy to work with any ideas you might have! During this first stage of the process, we’ll work together to decide on a topic.

OPTIONAL: DEMO

This step is optional, but I’d love to hop on a call with a team member who’s awesome at showing off how to use your product.

HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE

I’ll spend some hands-on time with your product/service, to help inform the content of the article.

FINISHED ARTICLE

I’ll write the article and send it to you for review. Take the opportunity to request any changes — I’ll wait to publish until I get your final approval.

Don't Just Take it From Me...

Maddy is an incredibly professional and talented copywriter. She manages to be both very creative while always keeping a mind to the business goals. I would, and plan to, work with her again the next time I need website copy written. I cannot recommend her enough.

Jeromy Sonne

Owner, Moonshine Marketing

I initially found Maddy through LinkedIn while in the process of firming up the details of my venture, Strong Suit. The expertise portrayed through her website and blog pushed me to get in touch. Maddy was easy to schedule a meeting with, and came completely prepared for the meeting after taking the time to do some research on my current initiatives. After giving suggestions backed by marketing best practices, I left the meeting feeling energized. After implementing Maddy's suggestions, my SEO worked exactly as I had hoped. I would definitely work with her again, and have even referred her some business from my own network.
